POLITICS AND RELIGION: An adulteration.

I am happy to be part of a history, the fact of the successful election of Sir. Gen M. Buhari my able President elect. Am proud also to note I never wasted my vote. I most commend the share show of sportmanship in the part of Sir. G. E. Jonathan my president.

However, let us be objective, revisit the past days since they announced their intentions to contest the elections to this moment and see our flaws with a view to correct them.

28th March have come and is gone, the leasons however, glaring. The experience tipical of a politics influenced by religion. A sure show of betrayal and disguise. Worse more, the lessons more a mirage than an unnoticed treasure at the water surface.

Courtesy of this election, I see a people that are more religious than Godly trusting high humanity than divinity. Little wonder we hoped more in man than God.

Because of our hope more in man, we see even the impossible, possible. Because of our trust in man we see hope die off even at it (hope)'s promising nursery. This attitude is as deathly as distroying a future and little less than extending sufferings as in the days of the Exodus.

It is this trust in man that make us see GMB as capable of Islamising Nigeria forgeting that trusting in God will tell us even at the entrance of Damascus soul can still turn to Paul.

We so much trust in Man in that we see GEJ as unchanging and unrepentant, forgetting that even on the cross the thief still has a Chance to inherit the Kingdom in equal propotion with his prosecutor.

Becouse we hope more in man we saw GMB as the only salvation Nigeria needs, forgeting love, peace and unity can come through any and every body.

Because we so much hope in man we saw GEJ as greedy and currupt since he could not enlarge our individual accounts forgeting that he is simply a mortal that is limited not God.

I call for a shift from the ideologies of old as these and invite my readers and Fans to note that:

All we need is to be given an enabling environment to explore our portentials which is the purpose for a government not to spoon feed the people. We equally never realized that, that enabling environment is only possible were peace, love, unity, and respect dwells.

Those characters of the most needed enaling environment are in us and most come from us.
I salute Nigeria and wish I could salute Nigerians.
