A 'CROSSLESS' CHRISTIAN IS NO CHRISTIAN AT ALL

Many Christians will quickly shout an amen without thinking twice when they hear "suffering is not your portion in Jesus name". But verily I say on to you, that may be a prayer of faith but it is not realistic. The one real fact with Christianity is that it is a collection of a people who have accepted to embrace all challenges and hardships for the kingdom. This is why Jesus will say " pick up your cross and follow me".
The world is compared to a market place where all Christians only came and will leave. Note; those who go to the market never goes for no suffering. Anyone who goes to the market and does not suffer or endure hardship is sure to return home with no gain. In the market people will disregard you, they will insult you, they will make a mockery of you, the sun will rise and set on you, the rain will start and finish with you standing there. But in all you endure these pains and hardship and by the end of the day you return home happy.
The moment you accept Christ as your lord and saviour you are set for suffering and hardship, because from the place of your baptism you move straight to the wilderness to be tempted by the evil one and that is the meaning of Christianity. 'Like Christ.'

In Christianity there is no crown without a cross and there is no throne with out a thorny path leading to it. This is means there is no true Christian without a Cross.

Embrace your hardship and use them as tools to see the face of your God. Run away from your hardship and you will be merely a church man, with no religion or a religious man with no God.

Morning and happy Sunday
