[Discussion Continues] IT WAS NOT IN MY INTENTION TO TAKE IT TO THIS END BUT WHY NOT IF YOU WANT IT THIS WAY

The piece from where this continues generated a lot of controversies as expected. This is so on the fact that the writers is the word and the readers is the interpretation. Also for the sake of reading without studying. A very view read it through the authors mind, others supported the writer because they feel it favours there blindfold, others totally got their nerves on the wild and would probably be still mad at the writer because they feel the piece was designed against their blindfold, some others simply remind indifrent while the rest got critical but injected some bias thoughts their blindfold brought hence got it all twisted.

WHY THE INTERMISSION
You may want to wonder and ask why intermission, Was it necessary, wouldn't he had just made his point than play with our intelligence? Sorry, but the purpose had been achieved which was to set the record right that our world view have been so dark colored by our blindfolds (sentemets) that our view of things is totally one sided and something close to being myopic. A christian will first see the Islamist in the writings than the facts and falls of his piece, an Islamist will first see the Christian in the writer than the facts and falls of his piece, so much so that we see how unqualify we each are to talk on religions we do not follow forgetting knowledge is vast. On the political realm, we APC members will see the hate in a PDP member talking about Buhari even when he says "Buhari is good" same will PDP members first see the hate in an APC member to PDP when he chooses to talk on PDP.
Back on the piece you could see that majority read the book by the cover, many of them never noticed the fact I established something that suggest the fact that the change we want and expected is not the change we see. (Different varying definitions)

THE CHANGE
APC promised us change, PDP promised us Transformation in their respective campaigns. The Change have come, we live with it, but do not understand it. I cannot recall any body asking APC what change they offer us. Change can be to anything good or bad. If APC's definition of change was removing PDP from power, have they not achieved it? If Olamide's definition of change was "Bihari and Osigbanjo" as he sang has he not achieved his change? If most Northern Muslims definition of change was to remove Goodluck Ebele Jonathan from power have they not achieved their change?. That is on the one end which is to say our satisfaction lays on the definition of what change is. My frequent follows will rightly know that my first article with regards to the present administration was a call to Buhari on his definition of fighting Corruption where I called for a redirection since I noticed he was fighting what I called the crime of corruption and not corruption itself.

ON TRANSMISSION
It will be with little or nor wit if anyone will say there is nor transformation ongoing even though the present administration did not promised transformation as a word but change which in a way is transformation.
Transformatoon is a marked change in appearance or character, especially one for the better. It is not something that will go through legislative processes nor is it something that goes only when the going is soft but even when the going gets tough. I recall I was asked what the change and the transformation are. Now I answer that the change is the transformation we see. And what is the transformation?

I leaved in a society where everyone seem to be waiting for government for their daily bread. A society where a very good farmer waves the farm, sacrifice his tools for a white paper they call employment letter. It was a society where as soon as government offers a person his so called "pensionable work" he sacrifices all his potentials. In that society I lived there was a youth running a car wash business, if what he told me was true, he was saving two thousand Nigerian naira a day after, but he abandoned that business and was careless about it till it gradually died off, cote-cee a primary school teaching government employment.

In this same society I lived largely among civil servants who spend all their earnings in advance and even spend far above their earnings. This made almost all of them
Professional deptors only for their stomach and not even a better live or an investment of some sort.

I lived in a society where Local government workers only come to office at month end to claim their salaries. A society where the politician is a god that must not be talked ill of even if he were wrong. I society where any body can be anything at whatever time.

I lived in a society where a party member card was enough to give you whatever you wanted. A society with an identity card that was not as useful as the party card. It was a society free to air through b
Disgusted doom.

I lived in a society where the widow, Widower, and Opherns live in hell even when their Fathers, Mothers, Husbands and wives have worked and left enough death benefits for then to live on. A society where out of share heartlessness people enjoy other people's death benefits living their love ones suffer much more hell than allocated them by the demise of their love ones.

It was a society where there was high unemployment rate yet there was enough vacancies for the sons and daughters of party excos and members, highly placed personalities, politicians, Directors, Local Government education sacretaries e.t.c even when such children were not quified.

A society where children of the oppotuned get paid salaries even from tender age, monies they never worked for yet the life of the view workers were pathetic under the guise of the norm that hides in the claim of no sufficient funds.


A society that the grand norm seem to suggest keeping the poor in perpetual poverty for loyalty sake. That society where every on wants to be the all in all in his locality and can do anything what so ever so sacrifices communal unity for self glory. That time when our brothers will hide our files to ensure we do not get promoted at work. When the would rather sale any opportunity they have to the stranger and sale it at home let alone given it freely.

A society where infrastructural development was poor and In some localities unavailable yet in paper it was available. And no one knows but the beneficiary.

A society where everything can go wrong with little fellows or now fellow at all saying anything about it possible because the master was one, his house was one so to speak against the masters house was to speak against one house.

And politics generally became a dirty game with may parents, religious leaders, ... Barnning their subjects from joining. That time when the only lier known was a politician.

WHERE THEN IS THE TRANSFORMATION IN ALL THIS

The point here is not in the act of better things that have come but if the fact that the bad things are now seen and felt by all against the tradition of old when it was only the poor that see feel the pains of it. That is to say, I am not saying the miracle have come but I am saying the problem is known and the first stage of solving a problem is knowing the problem.

Today almost everyone knows well not to depend on government but to find their sources of livelihood that will complement whatever penny the get from the government. We seem to all agree that government work should be a sort of additional means of livelihood and not to replace our earlier means of livelihood. Isn't that transformation and change.

Today also, many of the civil servants in my locality knows well to cut their coat a little less than their sizes so that the can save some for other purposes rather than live on a higher cost and remaining slaves to those they are incepted to forever.
In the same society, where for years I like many others have been preaching self reliance, entrepreneurial developments, savings and investments to no avail, today on their own the are being resourceful.
For instance, in my nighbourhood alone we have three to four shops ranging from profession stores, mini coca-cola depot, kitchen utensils store, and betteringtwo saloons of the respective sexs all owned by civil servants who never saw the need for an investment before. And all this began within this year cot-cee the cahnfe hardship.
We now have teachers and other civil servants on road transport business about six of them that I can identify and this does not affect their commitments to work in any way as they have peoples running this things for them and God's faithfulness abiding with them.

Furthermore the farms are busy. For every moment I turn and see the ginger, the corn, the ground nuts, the maize, the beans (Mada, waken gida, and Achi-shuru) particularly, and many more farm produce that are entering into the homes of civil servants how have said bye to farming, I am on able to say a word but Thank the Lord as I ask, Is that not Transformation? Is that not change?

Today everyone seem to be extra careful with the work God have so bless him with, there is a positive turn on things with regards to attaining to official needs as should. That too is a transformation, it is a change.

Today there is a down turn on the power of party membership and cards in and appreciable manner with regards to influencing benefits especially illegally. That too is T&C.

Today we know the secret of the pains the widows, widowers, and "orphans had to suffer, we know a very good number of those heartlessly enjoying benefits of the death of those the have no formal affiliation to. We know many who were offered replacement jobs illegally bearing the names of the death, or claiming monies in the name of the death there by denying relatives of the dead their lost one's benefits. Is that knowledge a lone not change, is it not Transforming.

Though the unemployment is still there, but today we know those who have stopped meaningful and positive development, we know those who earn what the do don't deserve, we have a drastic reduction in the number of unqualified workers who have occupied the places of the qualified. We know those whose affiliations have granted them some favours even above their seniors but now are back to where the rightly belong. Is that not change? Is that not Transformation.

Today, it is not only the poor that suffers the hardship, the recession, and what ever ill our doing and undoing is causing but largely everyone each according to what his statues deserves. Is there no change, is there no Transformation? Would things not more easily solved and bear if we are on this same page?

Today we know a lot of areas who lack schools, water, electricity, schools, ... Simply because in the papers it is recorded projects as such have been awarded, executed and are in use. The knowledge of it is a change and Transforming.

Today there are two strong masters, two hauses, I can tell the master of house "A" his ills and be protected by house "B" and the table would still serve same purpose when turned over. That is a great transformation, that is a change.

Today there seem to be a sound the sings, politics is not so dirty, we cannot do without involvement, everyone in every field can be saint or sinner. And politics is gradually regaining respect as deserved. Transformation and change it is.

If APC is doing us good, it is changing us, it is transforming us, if they are doing us bad, it is changing us, it is trnsformaing us. [Positivity, Objectivity, Critical mindedness]

WHO DO YOU MENTOR

(a reflection from the first reading of the Roman Catholic Church Today 26/06/2016)

Today is the 13th Sunday In Ordinary Time (Catholic Calendar) I choose to be bias by  taking this reflection with much emphasis on the 1st reading alone. From the first book of Kings Chapter 19 verse16b and verses19 to 21, the first reading reads thus:
"The LORD said to Elijah: 'You shall anoint Elisha, son of Shaphat of Abel–meholah, as prophet to succeed you.' Elijah set out and came upon Elisha, son of Shaphat, as he was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen; he was following the twelfth. Elijah went over to him and threw his cloak over him. Elisha left the oxen, ran after Elijah, and said, 'Please, let me kiss my father and mother goodbye, and I will follow you.' Elijah answered, 'Go back! Have I done anything to you?' Elisha left him, and taking the yoke of oxen, slaughtered them; he used the plowing equipment for fuel to boil their flesh, and gave it to his people to eat. Then Elisha left and followed Elijah as his attendant.

Let us attempt a synthesis using the characters of Saul and David+Elijah and Elisha. David and Elisha have one unique thing here, They are both successors. However, While Elijah had his way to his testing on a yomi yomi smooth path, David had it through the most boiling oil road. Why the difference between the two (David and Elisha)? simply put; the character of their predecessors.

Elijah Today depict to us the symbol of a good leader and mentor. It was revealed him, 'hey, your job here is over, now you have to bring to the fore he who is to succeed you in this service. note that the role of Elijah is the most respected in his society. It is no doubt a position many will like. Bring it to this generation it is a position many will like no one succeed them from but their children or relatives. But Elisha simply went, picked Elisha as the Lord ordered with no sign or a squeezed face that we can see.

Soul on the other hand loved and cherished David from the beginning, but the moment he SUSPECTED 'possibly this lad will be celebrated where I should' he suddenly turned David's doom. I could emerging Saul saying 'I must frustrate and chest him away, I must ensure I put the last nail on his coffin to secure my position and respect'.

While Elijah saw the chance of mentoring his successor more properly by drawing him closer before the final handing over day, Saul saw his as a conspiracy may be between God and the house of Jessy to relief him of his dignified position as king. He would rather use the opportunity he has of drawing David closer and mentor him into fulling what his (Saul's) mortal life had rendered unaccomplished to drawing David closer enough to the reach of his (Saul's) sword.

This  day, Elijah is challenging us all. we have heard and read of leaders who would use all within their powers to destroy anyone they sense a potential of competing with them in the future. Sadly enough, this does not happens only in the circular world but also in the church. This attitude is equally exhibited in all spheres of life. Worst is in the Political arena and the 'Gospel' room.

What is the effect? Today in our society hardly would the best make it to the base, huddles are set for them by the same fellows that should develop them into fully actualizing their potentials. Today to make it up the ladder you must bury your potentials which would either result into the fellow completely killing this potentials God have freely given him or if eventually he is in the position, he or she is unable to perform to his worth because the time he should use in developing this potentials he had used in hiding the potential, the time it should be developed and put to use, he is now using it for developing, the time he should be counting results and taking a rest, that is when these potentials are ready for use.

The result of this is what southern Kaduna and Nigeria is today suffering. The Isiah Balats, Yakowas, Ali Madaki, Joshua Madaki, the Military Gen. Zamani Lekwot, M. Luther Agwai to mention but these is gone. Who is taking over from these mighty men of old. Today, where is that one fellow that was trained or mentored by one of the above mentioned (particularly in Politics) to take after them. Well all thanks to Jushua Mamman Madaki for the Bantex of today aas unverifiably I learned. But as at now, who else to we have powerful enough to contest for the Governorship of Kaduna State come 2019 from here that was mentored by those we hoped for.

Permit me say without mentorship there is no progress to hope for. But with mentorship, continuity is sure and so, progress. I have had many who had given me reasons not to read books like Davincci Code, 48 Laws of power and the likes with a claim that they corrupt the mind. Hello! no one, I mean no one have given me a reason not to believe the Law No 1 in 48 Laws of power "Never overshadow your master". Because I live in a society where to display your potentials in training is your passport to failure, dead of your dreams and sometimes dead of you.

On the church the effect is terrible. Today it is much more easy for the most corrupt and wrong intentioned fellow to make it in the 'business' of the gospel as they see it. He with no good intention is likely to own his church and progress much more easily than the one with a positive mind set. But for Christ's eyes on the church one would be right to say the FUTURE OF THE CHURCH IS DARK. However without a turn around, I fear the future since it is not only the problem of no mentorship in the Christian fold but that of bad mentorship. Little wonder the CHURCH IS FAST BECOMING WORLDLY AND THE WORLD IS MORE FASTER BECOMING CHURCHY with many churches in almost every conner but God is not heard as loud as the should of music or announcement for call of financial support.
Ask yourself today as I have asked my self and is disappointed by the answers I got.

1. Am I a mentor?
2. what sort of a mentor am I?
3. How effective is mentorship?

Dear 'Sir'. Allahmagani Yohanna, Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to the Late Governor Yakowa Patrick. I was so amazed by your open latter to us SK people. In the first lines of your letter and by way of introduction you made clear your motive behind the open letter 'as the race toward 2015 is drawing near'. Sir, you are of the opinion that SK "must remain Resolutely in PDP with very beautiful but unsubstantial reasons to back your view. It is good that you and I agree on one fact which is that we in sK 'are known to appreciate if someone has performed, and we do not hide our satisfaction if such share us in the face' (your exact words) but you seem not aware of the fact that we also express our discertisfaction too, we are not bear boot lickers nor praise singers.
Let us look at your said 'general improvement in our lives: on this you start with:
APPOINTMET:
Here you showed how desperate you are even to and extent of attempting providing reasons even where there seem none, you began with the two Chief of defence Staff AGWAI and Chief of Naval Staff Iko. Which you forgot that it is a matter of merits than privilage. Besides, with no Yero's effort. Then the ministerial postions from the late senator  Balat to Mrs. Lawrecia Mallam, which we know are federal appoitments subject to the appointees contribution to the party and society which makes it what I call a "a privilleged right". Deputy Governo of Central Bank, GMD NNPC, DG NEma and National Chairman Sure-P all these you mentioned. You equally said PDP made it possible for Patrick Yakowa to become first ever southern Kaduna governor without telling us which party made it impossible before now. About professor W.B Qurix his VC-ship is also with higher passentage of merits which you know Yero contributed nothing to it.

PROJECTS:
On projects you mentioned many projects as the 2016 thermal power plant in SK, 30mw generated in Gurara dam using a KVA high voltage transmission lines to SK. All these and others are Federal government projects and more so none was initiated by Yero. You claimed YERO appraised ongoing projects across the state and 65% of the ongoing road projects in the state were all SITUATED AT SOUTHERN KADUNA. You never cared to find out why only the southern kaduna based state projects still reamin on the ongoing level, you were concern with the fact that their are ongoing projects without asking why SK should carry 65% single road projects at a perticular time when it is obvious these are a jam-pack of different abandoned projects.
In conclusion you adviced us not 'to ignore glaring DIVIDENDS that our people have benefited from the PDP'.
 Sir. We are not insencere to say we have benefited nothing from PDP but sir, your letter says a lot about your person than the people you fight for.
• PDP is painted in your letter as truthfull than even yourself.
•PDP appear a SK party than you as SK indigine if incase you are.
•you have defind yourself more selfish than a patriot of the land.

WHAT DO YOUR LETTER SUGGEST:
¤it suggest you are afirming that Yero have really not performed.
¤it suggest that you still want Yero back on that seat with or without good leadership.
¤it suggest that you know yero's score card is not enough to get him back to office come 2015.
¤it suggest that you agree Yero has nothing to offer but need to be covered.
And so what did you attempt:
»You attempt to confuse the masses to their doom. What a betrayal.
»You attempt to use the party's "glory" to cover Yero. What an unfaitful player.
»You attempt also to enrich yourself and protect your political carree. What a selfish fellow.
» You attempt to sale the land. What a ??? I just pray not a curse. Worse of all
»You attempt to present PDP as a god and more than God saying: 'made it possible for us to produce a governor" what an unreasonable claim. Who made it impossible?

WHAT YOU SUCCEDED IN DOING:
Yo succeded in telling the world Yero is not any good a leader for Kaduna State, but that he is trying hard to force himself on the. People. You also afirm our doubts on Yero and showed how incapacitated he is in that office as it regards just leadership or even good ledership. You are out there preaching to us counting of blessings and you don't want to see the people who your man turned god has under him as a blessing, little wonder you do with them as your man turned god wills. See how you turned your self deef to the fact that the blessing you want the people to count includes more intellegent and logical sound minds that your games cannot stand.

This is a preaching on faithfulness to a party. As a people has the party been faithful to us over time?
Is the PDP at the national level even same with that at the state level? If same why is it that in the state level she does not recognized the zoning sysytem especially on the gobernoterial seat. Why do you Sir. Yohanna choose to be a scab goat to your unqualified master. In all your years in the PDP Sir have Yero contributed to the party more than you or all others that only him even when it is crystal clear he has nothing to offer should lead? Why cover him to take your birth right.

Let me remained you what you don't want to remember which is the fact that SK has no problem with the PDP at the national level nor at the state level nor do SK have problem with GEJ but not only SK, rather Kaduna state as a whole sees yero as her problem and her doom. The problem will only affect the party in the state level as a whole ony if she insist on Yero returning back for even if she used her usual masures to get him back, one thing is sure, Yero will never win the heart of a people and if he were a good leader; knowing he do not dwell in the heart of the people he would gladly step down for the growth of the state but am sure greed and selfishness added to the bad and false councile the likes of you Sir offer him, he will never step down for good but he is doom to walk the night.

TO YOU "ELDER STATEMEN"
Be truthful when representing the land, whatever you will say and it is as you know not in the interest of the people please keep mute; it saves. It is better to be silent than speack rubish throwing distorted facts an expression of blind sycophancy which clearly definds you not only boot lickers and praise singers but like Kokwain Adamu will say: "Ass Kissers". We have had enough toxic waste in the past do not add to the many we have to garbage out. Above all, bear in mind southern Kaduna have outgrown the age of faifulness to an unfaithful party, our eyes are turned to creadible candidates with total disregard to whatever party the come through. Lastly I repeat. SK have no problem with PDP am sure you know that which is why you used the PDP in your open letter. But we will want an answer as to which party made it impossible for Sk to produce a governor which was made possible by PDP.
