ON KADUNA STATE SCHOOL FEEDING - FM.J Dabo Speaks

In as much as I know many nations keep to this feeding of elimentry school pupils, I see the need to always view the context in which we live before a borrow off of policies. Good as it may be, Kaduna state is just not ready for this feeding issue. While it serves the possitive efford of removing the Kaduna North children from the streets, it does the larger harm of drowing the Kaduna Central and Kaduna South Children to the street.
Time and again, to extend school hours implies that there is a judicious use of the 'limited' hours of old by but staff and students. However, that is not the case. The little is not valued what more of the much given?
In my humble opinion, before the feeding and extension of school hours there should be:

1. A strong supervission to public schools at intervals and it should be religiously carried.

2. Instructional materils and better learning environment for the schools should be provided for.

3. Welfare of staff should be improved upon and entitlements paid as at when due.

4. Eateries (Dinning Halls) Plates, Spoons and cups should be provided for as obtainable in every truely civilized society.

5. Libraries, and Computer Laboratories should be constructed to meet mordern standard of learning. For when the younger generation is goiven computer literacy at early stages, science and Technology will have a place with nor much stress in the near future.

This is my hmble opinion, to mean that I am not at home with this Feeding issue.

Good morning Kaduna State.
